Utz announces expansion of snack food distribution

A whole new market will be able to get their hands on Utz snacks.

The company announced that it will partner with Z.T. Distribution to provide direct store delivery, or DSD, of its snacks to retailers in Wisconsin.

“The Cheeseheads have spoken and they want more Utz snacks, especially Utz brand Cheese Balls!” James Tanking, senior vice president of sales at Utz Quality Foods, said. “We are really excited about the reaction our Utz snack foods have received in Wisconsin. And with the help of Z.T. Distribution and retail partners, we now have the means to ensure consumers get the snacks they seek; Utz potato chips and cheese ball barrels are just a few of the many requested. They’re just in time for tailgating and football season.”

The joint partnership will provide consumers in leading Wisconsin retailers with an array of Utz’s potato chips, pretzels, cheese balls, tortilla chips and more, the companies said.
