Utz rolls out limited-edition chip packaging

Utz is highlighting all 30 Major League Baseball, or MLB, clubs on specially-marked packages of its original and ripple potato chips.

The Hanover, Pa.-based company, which previously announced that it was the official salty snack of the MLB, revealed that it will sell the limited-edition packages at leading retailers across the United States and online.

“Utz is proud to be the Official Salty Snack of Major League Baseball and is excited to open the 2019 baseball season with these specially-marked, limited-edition Utz potato chip packages”, Tom Flocco, the president and chief operating officer of Utz Quality Foods, said. “Utz and MLB is a winning combination, steeped in quality, tradition and family. And there’s much more in store for this winning combination this season, watch your store shelves and online!”

In addition, the company announced that it will continue to create unique snacks as part of its continued multi-faceted sponsorship agreement with the MLB.

Further co-branded products, promotions, media and social media will be launched throughout the baseball season, the companies said.
