Welch's brings the orchard to store shelves

ALLENDALE, N.J. — Promotion In Motion Companies, makers of Welch's Fruit Snacks, on Tuesday announced the launch of a new variety featuring orchard-inspired treats. Welch's Apple Orchard Medley will bring to consumers such flavors as Granny Smith, Golden Delicious apple, Red Delicious apple, apricot and pear. 

 

"When we considered what our next variety should be, the delicious, crisp fall tastes of Orchard Fruits were a natural fit," said Josh Shapiro, VP marketing for the Promotion In Motion Companies. "And like all of our Fruit Snacks, they reflect our core commitment to providing fun, delicious, and smart treats for the whole family to enjoy."

 

Welch's Apple Orchard Medley snacks will be available in 10-count boxes with a suggested retail price of $2.99 and 5-oz peg bags for $1.79. The company said that more package sizes will be released throughout the year.
