ZICO Organic hits shelves

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — ZICO Beverages announced this week that it would be launching its ZICO Certified Organic Fair Trade coconut water (ZICO Organic). 

 

The company received organic certification from the Department of Agriculture’s National Organic Program and was certified Fair Trade by the Fair Trade Sustainability alliance. Additionally, the company said that each purchase helps support the Phillipine communities 

 

“At ZICO, we believe every day is an opportunity to start something good,” ZICO Chief Marketing Officer Lorna Peters said. “Our new Organic Fair Trade coconut water is just one step we’re taking as a company to offer more choices for people to consume consciously.”

 

The company is currently rolling out ZICO Organic in 16.9 fl.-oz. Tetra Pak cartons in certain regions, including New York, and will see a wider distribution as the summer continues. ZICO Organic’s suggested retail price is $3.49.
