Cesar Fresh Chef offers dogs culinary-inspired meals

Cesar is catering to dog-parents far and wide with its latest innovation, which is sure to keep tails wagging.

New from the Franklin, Tenn.-based company is the Cesar Fresh Chef line, which consists of refrigerated cut-and-serve rolls for dogs that are made with human-grade ingredients, and do not contain artificial flavors, colors or preservatives, according to the brand.

“Refrigerated pet food has become the fastest-growing segment of pet food products on the market,” Josh Evertsen, senior vice president of customer development at Mars Petcare said. “Now pet parents who know and love the Cesar brand for its culinary-forward recipes have more feeding choices with the new Cesar Fresh Chef product line. We’re thrilled to team up with Walmart to bring our newest innovation to shoppers nationwide.”

Available in two flavors — beef and chicken recipe with peas and carrots, and chicken recipe with peas and carrots — each recipe is made with fresh beef or chicken as the first ingredient, the company said.

Consumers interested in doting on their dogs with Cesar Fresh Chef will be able to find the line at more than 800 Walmart stores nationwide in a 1.3-lb roll for $4.58 and 3.2-lb. roll for $8.43.
