Cheez-It packs popcorn with extra cheese

Cheez-It is reinventing the traditional popcorn snack.

New from the Battle Creek, Mich.-based brand are the Loaded Popcorn snacks, which contain 100% real cheese, the company said.

“Even though our Cheez-It Original crackers are a tried-and-true classic, our innovation team is always looking for new ways to bring our fans their favorite 100% real cheese flavor in different snack forms,” Jeff Delonis, senior director of marketing for Cheez-It said. “When it comes to popcorn, the team knew it was due for a cheesier plot twist and delivered with their newest flavor-filled creation.”

Available in two varieties for a limited time, consumers can choose from the Loaded Cheddar Popcorn and Loaded White Cheddar Popcorn flavors.

Consumers can find Cheez-It Loaded Popcorn at retailers nationwide for a limited time.
