Chick-fil-A’s signature sauces are about to become more accessible than before.
The popular fast-food chain announced that bottles of its sauces will be available for purchase at retailers nationwide beginning in 2021.
Royalties received from third-party retail sales of the sauces will go towards supporting scholarships for its restaurant team managers, the Atlanta-based company said.
Sauces that will be available at retailers include the signature Chick-fil-A sauce and Polynesian sauce as well.
“Chick-fil-A sauce and Polynesian sauce were offered as part of a pilot program in select Florida retailers earlier this year, and we’re excited to expand availability of our two most beloved sauces across the country,” L.J. Yankosky, senior director of innovation and new ventures at Chick-fil-A said. “Restaurant team members go above and beyond every day to care for our guests and the communities they serve. We’re thrilled that every 16-oz. bottled sauce purchased from a participating retailer will help provide additional scholarship opportunities to team members, who are a key ingredient to our restaurant experience.”
Retailing for about $3.49 per 16-oz. bottle, retailers that will carry the products beginning mid-November include Publix, Kroger, Walmart and Winn-Dixie stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi. A nationwide rollout will happen in early 2021.
