A conversation with The Compliance Team’s Sandra Canally

The Compliance Team, the nationally recognized healthcare accreditation organization, is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2024. At NACDS’ Total Store Expo, DSN caught up with the founder and CEO, Sandra C. Canally.

Canally talked about the company’s 30-year legacy, its penetration in the pharmacy accreditation business and how it supports the industry as it transforms into more of a healthcare destination.

Additionally, the executive announced the company’s new E-commerce Protection Accreditation for Pharmacy. 

“What that means is for pharmacies that do online business, online activity for filling scripts for refills for all of those things and accept payment,” she said. “There are still a lot of issues, as everybody knows, in the industry with fraud with pharmacies that aren't really pharmacies. So this is all about protection for the pharmacy, protection for the patient and protection for the payment process.”
