CVS Pharmacy has joined forces with Edgewell Personal Care’s Banana Boat Suncare brand on a new initiative.
The two companies are working together to support Easterseals Southern California, an organization that assists more than 15,000 individuals with disabilities across Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Imperial, Kern, San Bernardino, Riverside and Ventura counties.

“We appreciate the ongoing generosity of Banana Boat Suncare and CVS Pharmacy,” said Mark Whitley, president and CEO of ESSC. “Community-based efforts such as this, where our corporate partners join together to support our work, demonstrate ways our local business community can help to make a profound and positive difference every day in the lives of people with disabilities.”
From Aug. 1 to 31, CVS Pharmacy stores across Southern California and Banana Boat Suncare will donate 50 cents to ESSC for each Sport SPF 30 or SPF 50+ sunscreen lotion or spray purchased.

Both Banana Boat and CVS Pharmacy are longtime supporters of ESSC and have partnered with the nonprofit organization for more than 11 years on a wide range of fundraising initiatives that have included an annual golf tournament.
