  • CVS Health's latest mobile pay solution integrates payment, refills and loyalty card

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. - CVS Health on Thursday announced the launch of CVS Pay, a new, end-to-end mobile payment solution.

    CVS Pay – now part of the CVS Pharmacy mobile app – integrates payment, prescription pickup and the ExtraCare loyalty program all in one quick scan at checkout.  

  • CVS Health adjusted earnings for Q2 exceed analyst estimates

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. - CVS Health on Tuesday reported an increase of 17.6% in net revenues for the three months ended June 30, 2016, to $43.7 billion. Revenues in the Pharmacy Services Segment increased 20.7% to $29.5 billion in the three months ended June 30, 2016, which CVS Health attributed to an increased pharmacy network claim volume and growth in specialty pharmacy.

  • Mass market still most shopped channel

    More vitamins, minerals and supplements were sold online so far in 2016 than have been sold through a Walmart store, TABS Analytics reported earlier this year. According to the TABS Analytics analysis, $2 billion in VMS products were sold online vs. $1.7 billion at Walmart, $1.3 billion at Costco and $1.2 billion at CVS Pharmacy.

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. - CVS Health and Adapt Pharma on Friday announced a new partnership that will make the opioid overdose-reversing drug Narcan (Naloxone HCl) Nasal Spray more affordable for patients without insurance at CVS Pharmacy locations. Through this partnership, CVS Pharmacy patients purchasing Narcan Nasal Spray without insurance will receive a $35 discount coupon to purchase the medication, reducing the out-of-pocket cost by nearly 25%.

  • CVS Health now able to dispense naloxone without prescription in Lone Star State

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. - CVS Health announced Monday that the opioid overdose-reversal medication naloxone is now available without a prescription at all CVS Pharmacy locations in Texas.
