Those looking for a filling snack — Del Monte Foods may have just the right fix.
The Walnut Creek, Calif.-based company is unveiling its latest innovation, Fruit Crunch Parfait.
Containing a serving of fruit and granola layers, the parfait is a non-dairy option that comes in four flavors — mango, strawberry, blueberry and pineapple coconut.
"We envisioned Fruit Crunch Parfait as a reinvented classic that is ideal for the wellness-minded consumer striving towards balancing great taste, nutrition, and convenience," Liam Farrell, the VP of brand marketing for Del Monte Foods, said. "We're thrilled to expand our presence in the refrigerator aisle with a non-dairy – yet deliciously crave-worthy – product, something you can feel good about eating.
Featuring probiotics for digestive health, the Fruit Crunch Parfait does not contain artificial flavors or sweeteners, and is comprised of coconut crème in order to provide the texture and richness of yogurt, the company said.
Shoppers can expect to find Del Monte Foods’ Fruit Crunch Parfait at grocery stores nationwide later this year.
