Designs For Health intros 2 supplements for women

Designs For Health is debuting two new supplements: ProbioMed Women and FemGuard-HF.

ProbioMed Women is a once-daily probiotic formula designed to help target and support women’s vaginal and gastrointestinal health.

Designs For Health describes the formula as one that provides a clinically relevant serving of 25 billion colony-forming units (CFUs) featuring ten highly-researched probiotic strains that support microbial balance in the vaginal and GI tracts. It also promotes a normal vaginal pH, a healthy immune response and a healthy gut-brain axis, Designs For Health said.

The concentrated capsules feature delayed-release technology for optimal survival in the stomach and properly timed-release in the lower GI tract.

FemGuard-HF is designed to help diminish mild hot flashes caused by menopause and promote overall menopausal comfort. Hot flashes are a common vasomotor complaint during menopause that can significantly affect a woman’s quality of life. This product is a synergistic combination of phytoestrogens (genistein and lignans [as HMRlignan]), gamma-oryzanol, DeltaGold tocotrienols and the amino acid taurine. This product may help promote healthy aging. It may support healthy inflammatory and antioxidative responses to estrogen fluctuations/insufficiency, bone health and healthy hormonal and neurotransmitter balance, the company said.
