All three were recognized for their efforts in championing women in business and driving change for gender diversity in the workplace, the Goodlettsville, Tenn.-based company said.

“We are grateful to HERoes by Yahoo Finance for recognizing three exceptional female leaders, who are each working to extend our mission of serving others,” said Todd Vasos, Dollar General’s CEO. “At DG, our mission includes everyone, and I would like to congratulate and applaud Kathy, Melanie and Mary Alice for their work to elevate and drive workplace inclusion.”

The list includes 100 women who represent a wide range of impactful and innovative work being done for inclusion across various countries, organizations and sectors, the company said.
