The Genoa Healthcare pharmacy in Mankato, Minn., recently began providing pharmacy services within Open Door Health Center, a community clinic, according to a report from KEYC 12 News in Mankato.

The center provides medical, dental and behavioral health services, Genoa said. “Having the pharmacy here with Open Door and in Mankato really offers our patients that one-stop shop to be able to get medical, dental or behavioral health services, and also then their pharmaceutical needs all at one place,” Open Door Health Center CEO Doug Jaeger told KEYC 12 News.

Genoa Healthcare’s director of operations William Wrigley said that the addition of an on-site pharmacy offers patients convenience and affordability. “Sometimes there’s a financial burden on folks to be able to get their medications. We have tools that we can utilize in partnership with our clinic partners to try and find options for those patients to make sure that cost isn’t a reason that they are going without medication,” he told KEYC 12 News.
