Eco Bandage won the Drug Store News Buyers’ Choice Awards for its liquid bandages at ECRM’s Health Care Session held recently in Indian Wells, Calif. Greener Living Products was a finalist for its Just Bite Me bug repellent.

Both products were selected from dozens of entries submitted by participating suppliers and displayed in the hospitality area of the session. Attending buyers evaluated each entry and cast their votes based on product packaging and innovation.

“Sustainability and natural ingredients are increasingly making their way into health care products, and both Buyers Choice Award winners are great examples of this,” said Judy Ard, vice president of Health Care for ECRM. “Eco Bandage is made with no forever chemicals and eliminates the waste of traditional bandages, and All of Greener Living Products are made with all-natural ingredients. Congratulations to both winners.”

Eco Bandage was founded by the Kavovit family—Andrew, Jennifer, their 17-year-old daughter Kiowa and 14-year-old son Cash. Kiowa, the youngest entrepreneur ever featured on Shark Tank, wanted to create a sustainable product that revolutionizes wound care.

The brand’s liquid bandage products use a proprietary color dispersion technology, which allows the bandage to blend seamlessly with various skin tones while maintaining flexibility. Unlike traditional bandages that can become rigid and uncomfortable, Eco Bandage remains flexible and skin-like, even on joints, ensuring that the bandage stays in place to provide continuous protection without compromising comfort.

Available in three colors—Mocha, Honey, and Sand—to match light, medium and dark skin tones, Eco Bandage will soon also be offered in fun colors like Ocean and Hibiscus for those who want to add a bit of flair to their wound care. The liquid bandage also contains an antiseptic ingredient that, combined with natural pigments, helps speed up healing and reduce scarring.

The product is non-toxic, latex-free, and free from “forever chemicals”, making it a safe choice for all users. Additionally, Eco Bandage is fully biodegradable, aligning with the growing demand for sustainable products in the health and wellness industry.
