Famous Amos brings internationally-inspired ingredients to cookies

Famous Amos is putting an international spin on its cookies.

The brand is rolling out three new recipes that contain such ingredients as coconut from the Philippines, chocolate from Belgium and hazelnuts from the Mediterranean.

New additions include Belgian Chocolate Chips, Philippine Coconut and White Chocolate Chips, and Mediterranean Hazelnut and Chocolate Chips.

“We heard from our fans that quality ingredients are most important to them, so we’re relaunching Famous Amos cookies with this in mind,” Rachna Patel, senior director, distinctive brands at Ferrara said. “We selected the best ingredients from around the world for our three new globally inspired flavors and we can’t wait for everyone to try them.”

In addition, to coincide with these new launches, the Chicago-based company also is rolling out a new contemporary and refined looked that features location-inspired graphics.

Available in a 7-oz. bag that retails for $4.49, Famous Amos’ Wonders From the World line is available at grocery stores and retailers nationwide.
