Ferrara celebrates Tune Squad reunion via ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ snacks

With the release of Warner Bros. Pictures’ "Space Jam: A New Legacy" just days away, Ferrara is looking to make the film’s debut a little sweeter.

The consumables company is teaming up with the film’s parent company on a limited-edition line of candies and cookies, which include the Trolli, Keebler, Nerds and SweeTarts brands.

“We know we picked the winning team when we partnered with ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ to give fans everywhere the ultimate candy and cookie lineup for this legendary movie experience,” said Lauren Ruis, senior manager of brand experience at Ferrara. “From Trolli to Keebler, Nerds and SweeTarts, our collection proves that our sweet snacks can be team players without sacrificing their individuality — just like Bugs Bunny and the rest of the Tune Squad.”

Consisting of new packaging and special edition snacks that celebrate the reunion of the film’s Tune Squad, which includes Looney Tunes characters and LeBron James, the product lineup includes:

• Trolli Sour Sneaks x Space Jam: A New Legacy with left and right shoe gummies available in lime-raspberry, lemon-berry punch and strawberry-blackberry flavors;
• Trolli Sour Brite Crawlers x Space Jam: A New Legacy, which are multi-flavored gummy worms that feature sweet and sour notes. Flavors include cherry-lemon, strawberry-grape and orange-lime;
• Keebler Chips Deluxe Original x Space Jam: A New Legacy that features the signature extra-thick cookies stuffed with chocolate chips;
• Nerds Big Chewy x Space Jam: A New Legacy in orange, lemon, strawberry and grape flavors. The candy is chewy on the inside and crunchy on the outside;
• SweeTarts Mini Chewy x Space Jam: A New Legacy, a chewy, coated candy with sweet and tangy notes;
• SweeTarts Cherry Punch Soft and Chewy Ropes x Space Jam: A New Legacy with a fruit-punch filling that is a combination of licorice and the brand’s signature candy; and
• Space Jam: A New Legacy Sweet Variety Treats, a limited-edition 28-count variety pack that features offerings from Keebler Fudge Stripes Minis Original, Keebler Chips Deluxe Mini Cookies, Trolli Sour Brite Crawlers Mini and SweeTarts Cherry Punch Ropes.

The limited-edition snacks will be available nationwide through mid-July, the company said.
