    ATLANTA Quilted Northern has kicked off a new campaign that supports the launch of its newest toilet tissue.

    The new integrated marketing campaign for Quilted Northern Soft & Strong will ask consumers to talk about ways to share their bathroom experience through television and print ads, as well as social media and in-store promotions.

  • Redbox ventures into video games

    OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. About one month after announcing its movie rental milestone, Redbox reportedly also is offering video game enthusiasts the chance to rent games from its kiosks.

    Redbox offers video game rentals for such systems as Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, Sony Playstation PS2 and PS3, and Microsoft Xbox 360. The price to rent the video games currently is $2 per day, according to published reports.

  • 'Avatar' phone covers make their debut

    SAN FRANCISCO A creator of customized mobile phone covers and electronic devices has developed designs that feature images from the Academy Award-winning film “Avatar.”

    “‘Avatar’ featured iconic imagery and memorable characters that captivated movie-goers around the world,” said Coveroo’s CEO and co-founder Karl Jacob. “Coveroo brings these characters and images to consumer’s phones and other personal electronics using our unique HighColor and Laser Engraving process.”

    ATLANTA —Newell Rubbermaid has launched a new microfiber mop that’s economically and environmentally friendly. Rubbermaid Reveal Microfiber spray mop features a reusable microfiber pad that can be used with a cleaning solution or with water alone.

    Unlike many spray mops on the market, Rubbermaid Reveal’s spray bottle is refillable, an economically friendly feature that allows consumers to mix their own cleaning solutions for a savings of up to $50 annually. The reusable microfiber pad is machine washable and can be used up to 100 times.
