Giant is set to open a new store in Jenkintown, Pa., continuing its strategic growth in the greater Philadelphia area. The new, ground-up, approximately 50,000-square-foot store will be built at the corner of Old York Road and Wyncote Road as part of a proposed redevelopment project. This will be the first store in Jenkintown for the company.
“With a decades-long history of serving Montgomery County, we are excited to bring Giant to Jenkintown,” said John Ruane, interim president of Giant. “The Giant Company is looking forward to serving the families of Jenkintown by offering a simplified shopping experience, inspiring fresh ideas, and creating a healthier community, true to our purpose of connecting families for a better future.”
