Guinness’ latest beverage combines coffee, beer

Guinness is reinventing its offerings.

New from the brand is the Nitro Cold Brew Coffee beverage, which blends together coffee and beer.

Brewed using cold brew coffee extract and coffee flavors, the beverage contains hints of espresso, chocolate and caramel, the company said.

“Nitro Cold Brew Coffee beer is a welcome addition to the Guinness family, and the response so far has been incredible,” Nikhil Shah, Guinness brand director said. “Now that it's officially iced coffee season, we’re excited to give consumers a coffee-forward beer to enjoy during their spring and summertime occasions.”

Featuring 4% ABV, Guinness Nitro Cold Brew Coffee beer is available in a pack of four 14.9-fl-oz. cans that retail for $9.99.
