Hallmark, Morgan Harper Nichols partner on Real Stories line

Hallmark is debuting a new line of greeting cards that were created through a partnership with poet and artist Morgan Harper Nichols.

The Real Stories collection features new cards and gifts that combine Nichols’ words of hope, self-acceptance and perseverance with inspirational designs, the Kansas City, Mo.-based company said.

“I’m so excited to partner with Hallmark for the Real Stories collection,” Nichols said. “The beauty of tapping into our sensitivity and empathy is when people are experiencing these positive, encouraging messages they feel seen.”

Originally launched in 2021, the Real Stores line was created to help consumers support their loved ones through a range of real-life experiences that range from difficult to bittersweet and joyful new beginnings, the company said.

Featuring 24 greeting cards and a variety of unique gifts that include a travel mug, easel calendar, cube caddy and tea towel, the Morgan Harper Nichols Real Stories collection also includes cards for everyday life, milestone moments and special occasions.

“This new offering of greeting cards and gifts brings together Morgan Harper Nichols’ unique artistic talent and Hallmark’s mission to help people connect with the ones they care about,” said Kristy Lewis, vice president of marketing and consumer experience at Hallmark. “And if you ask us, it’s a perfect match.”

The greeting cards consumers can choose from include:

• The Your Presence Makes a Difference Thank-You Card and You Make My World Brighter Thank-You Card, which was designed to thank someone who made a positive impact in an individual’s life;
• The Here’s a New Chapter Card, which recognizes new beginnings including graduation, a new job, a move, marriage and new family member among others;
• The Keep Dreaming Encouragement Card, You Are Not Alone Encouragement Card and I Believe in You Encouragement Card, which were created to help someone going through a difficult time; and
• The Wise, Strong and Beautiful Birthday Card for Her and Bold Audacious Joy Blank Card, which can be used to celebrate happy milestones.
