Hostess embraces fall with new, returning festive flavors

Break out the flannel and a cozy blanket because fall is almost here.

In anticipation of the season’s return, Hostess is embracing all the apple cider and pumpkin spice goodness.

The Lenexa, Kan.-based company is bringing back some of its popular fall-inspired snacks, but only for a limited time, and introducing new options as well.

Returning classics from the brand include the Hostess Pumpkin Spice Twinkies, Iced Pumpkin CupCakes and Caramel Crunch Donettes.

New additions from Hostess include the Apple Cinnamon Donettes, which are dusted with cinnamon sugar and natural apple flavors that help mimic apple pie-inspired notes, and the Maple Glazed Donettes, which contain a maple-flavored glaze.

Both new launches will be available in single-serve sleeves of six Donettes each beginning in October, the company said.
