Hy-Vee Medicare Aisle offering free plan comparisons
Hy-Vee Medicare Aisle is providing free Medicare plan comparisons during Medicare’s Annual Open Enrollment Period, which began Saturday, Oct. 15 and ends Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services recommend all Medicare participants review their coverage each year to make sure their current plan is the best fit based on current health conditions, doctors and specialists who participate in the plan, prescription coverage and individual budget parameters. However, not all Medicare recipients take this important step. As a result, participants may find themselves stuck with a plan that may no longer fit their specific situation.

Hy-Vee Medicare Aisle has developed free Medicare plan comparisons, which the retailer noted gives Medicare participants in Hy-Vee’s eight-state region three important advantages:
- Clear-cut recommendations based on a person’s unique circumstances;
- Easy-to-understand explanations to help Medicare participants see the difference between multiple options; and
- A no-obligation review of coverage options, which may help them save money.
“At Hy-Vee Medicare Aisle, we talk to a lot of Medicare participants who see advertisements about Medicare coverage but are confused about their options,” said John Breiten, vice president of Hy-Vee Medicare Aisle. “Because we’ve done the homework to evaluate big-name national plans and smaller regional companies that specialize in Medicare coverage for people in the Midwest, our licensed agents can help them quickly cut through all the noise to see which plans might be the best fit.”
