Getting an Impossible Burger is now as easy as running to the nearest grocery store.
Yes, that is correct. Impossible Foods is bringing its flagship product to nearly 2,000 grocery stores owned by Kroger.
Available in packages of two pre-formed, quarter-pound patties, the product has begun rolling out to Kroger, Ralphs, Fred Meyer, Mariano’s and Smith’s among other retailers.
In addition, it also is available for online ordering through Kroger’s e-commerce website for its curbside pickup and delivery services, the company said.
“Burger patties have been increasing in popularity for nearly a decade because they’re simple and fast. And now more than ever, Americans crave convenience and speed in the kitchen,” Ravi Thakkar, Impossible Foods’ vice president of product management said. “Our patty packs enable home chefs to create the perfect dish, whether that’s a classic-style burger or a juicy patty melt. In just four minutes, your Impossible Burger can go from the refrigerator to the grill to your plate.”
Retailing for $6.99 per package at Kroger-affiliated stores, Impossible Foods’ Impossible Burger patties will be available at additional retail locations in the coming weeks.
