Isopure expands protein powder availability at Target

Isopure, a maker of protein drinks and powder, is expanding its retail presence.

The Downers Grove, Ill.-based company has made its protein powder portfolio available at more than 1,600 Target stores across the nation.

“For the longest time, performance and healthy lifestyle nutrition has come with trade-offs in regards to taste, novelty and convenience, but that's changing. Consumers want their nutrition choices to be better and to do better,” Jonathan Thompson, general manager at Isopure, said. “Isopure pushes the boundaries with each and every product, and we don't compromise on performance and quality. We are excited to see large and influential retailers like Target recognize the quality of our products, and we are thrilled to serve the health-and-wellness journey of their consumers.”

Isopure Infusions and Unflavored Zero Carb Protein products can be found at the retailer, the company said.

“We have seen the Isopure brand resonate very well with Target consumers through our test run last year and are thrilled to extend our partnership with the nationwide distribution and online availability of our Isopure Infusions and Isopure Zero Carb Unflavored protein powders into the nutrition set at Target,” Corey Klein, Isopure's senior sales manager, said.

Containing 90 calories per scoop, each serving of Isopure Infusions features 20 g of GMO-free whey protein, is sweetened with stevia leaf extract, is made without the use artificial colors or flavors, and is available in tropical punch and citrus lemonade flavors, the company said.

While Zero Carb Unflavored Protein contains 25 g of GMO-free whey protein isolate per scoop; does not contain fat, carbs, fillers, sugars or lactose, added colors, artificial flavors or sweeteners; and can be mixed into beverages, soups or sauces.
