Kellogg’s is looking to bring the fun of Minecraft to the breakfast table.

In order to help consumers experience the ever-changing landscapes of the game in person, the Battle Creek, Mich.-based company is launching the limited-edition Minecraft Creeper Crunch cereal.

“As a popular video game, Minecraft has inspired exploration and creativity for millions of players worldwide,” Erin Storm, marketing director of Kellogg All Family Cereal said. “With Kelloggs Minecraft Creeper Crunch cereal, game fanatics and families alike can build their own delicious breakfast and gaming adventure.”

Featuring cinnamon-flavored bites and green squares of marshmallows that channel the game’s famously pixelated block look, each box of cereal also includes a unique code that unlocks one of 10 in-game clothing items that typically are only available by purchase, the company said.

“Minecraft players seek to experience the imaginative, adventurous spirit offered within the game,” Kayleen Walters, general manager of licensing and partnerships at Mojang Studios said. “Partnering with Kelloggs is the perfect opportunity for our community to extend the vibrant creativity of the game they already eat up — and it gives them a literal taste of Minecraft in real life.”

The Kellogg’s Minecraft Creeper Crunch cereal is available in stores nationwide and online for the suggested retail price of $3.99 per 8-oz. box and $5.69 for 12.7-oz. box.
