For the first time in its history, Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes is teaming up with a major name in sports.
The brand is joining forces with Basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal on a new version of its cereal that features a cinnamon twist.
New from the Battle Creek, Mich.-based company is the Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes with Crispy Cinnamon Basketballs, which will only be available for a limited time, and feature its signature flakes sprinkled in with cinnamon-dusted basketballs.
To celebrate the launch of this new cereal, the brand is giving fans the chance to win an autograph box of the cereal by sharing why sports are important to them using the hashtag #MissionTigerEntry via Instagram.
In addition, the two are also working on helping 1 million middle school children gain better access to sports by the end of 2021 through the Mission Tiger initiative, the company said.
“It’s no secret I love Tony the Tiger, and having my own Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes cereal has been a lifelong dream,” O'Neal said. “Now that this dream is finally coming true, I don’t want fans to have to wait a second longer, so I’m giving a lucky few the chance to win one of the first boxes, signed by yours truly! And more importantly, by buying a box you can help support Mission Tiger to help middle schoolers gain better access to sports.”
Consumers can find Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes with Crispy Cinnamon Basketballs at retailers nationwide, for a limited time, in a 10.2-oz. box that retails for $3.99 and a 16.3-oz. box for $5.69.
