Kellogg’s spreads holiday cheer with Elf on the Shelf cereal

10/13/2020

It’s almost the happiest time of the year, and Kellogg’s is getting a jump start on celebrations.

To do just that, the Battle Creek, Mich.-based company is putting a new — edible — spin on the beloved Elf on the Shelf.

New to the brand’s portfolio is the limited-edition Elf on the Shelf vanilla candy cane cookie cereal. Featuring red star pieces that have been sprinkled with white crunchlets, as well as red and white swirled mini marshmallows, the cereal combines vanilla flavors with that of peppermint.

In addition, the previously released Elf on the Shelf sugar cookie cereal will also be making a comeback for the holiday season.

“The Elf on the Shelf has captured the hearts of millions of families,” Erin Storm, senior marketing director of Kellogg All Family Cereal said. “Our new The Elf on the Shelf vanilla candy cane cookie cereal encourages families to bring the magic of the holiday season to the breakfast table, whether it's by enjoying a spoonful of candy cane cookie, sugar cookie or a combination of both.”

Kellogg’s limited-edition Elf on the Shelf vanilla candy cane cookie cereal will be available exclusively at Walmart in a 12.2-oz. box that retails for $5.69.

The Elf on the Shelf sugar cookie cereal will be available at retailers nationwide in a 8.1-oz. box that retails for $3.99.
