Lytt infuses hard seltzer teas with guarana

11/2/2020

Lytt is adding a twist to traditional hard seltzers teas.

The Las Vegas-based company is aiming to do just that by launching a collection of alcoholic beverages that are infused with guarana, are free of gluten and sugar and contain just 100 calories per serving.

Created by brewing alcohol from fermented sugar with guaranà and organic tea, the beverages are then blended with organic cane alcohol, the company said.

Available in neon-hued 12-oz. cans with various designs, the line, which contains 5% ABV, is available in three flavors — Moroccan mint tea, raspberry black tea and peach black tea.

“Our products are full-flavored and naturally sweetened with Monk Fruit, so they are still sweet and flavor-forward despite being zero-sugar,” Lytt founder and CEO, Michel Myara said. “I was waiting for someone to do something original and it didn't happen. So, I rolled up my sleeves and got to work. I wanted to develop the hard seltzer with the most points of differentiation. If I was going to enter this space, it had to be with something no one else was doing.”

Currently, Lytt’s beverages are available at convenience stores and gas stations across 30 of its distribution partners in the nation.
