Maesa, a global beauty incubator, has chosen to support the Arbor Day Foundation, a global non-profit dedicated to planting trees. This collaboration reflects Maesa’s commitment to environmental sustainability and giving back to its community, aligning with its core purpose of creating positive impact through beauty and beyond, the company said.

Through this partnership, Maesa will contribute to global reforestation efforts, helping to plant trees in areas of need. These efforts not only contribute to combating climate change but also improve biodiversity and provide cleaner air and water in vulnerable regions around the world. By teaming up with the Arbor Day Foundation, Maesa aims to inspire sustainable practices within the beauty industry while making a lasting impact on the environment, the company said.
In honor of NYC Climate Week, Maesa sponsored a volunteer day for their team to experience the power of trees. More than 40 individuals from Maesa biked to Riverside Park, a newly built park on the west side of Manhattan. Maesa volunteers rolled up their sleeves to participate in a community tree planting event with the Foundation.

Why Tree Planting?
Trees are a key part of the solution to some of the biggest issues facing our planet. They play a critical role in creating healthier, safer and more connected communities. They clean our air, filter our water, and even slow storm surge and flooding in our cities. Trees also provide shade and cool our cities by up to 10 degrees, which can help prevent heat-related deaths in urban areas.
Maesa Chief Growth Officer Scott Kestenbaum expressed the company’s dedication to this initiative: “At Maesa, we believe that beauty has the power to transform not just people, but the world around us. Our partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation is a testament to our commitment to environmental sustainability and the long-term health of our planet. We are proud to support the Arbor Day Foundation’s incredible work and look forward to making a meaningful difference through our efforts.”
“Trees are needed now more than ever, and we are excited to partner with Maesa to amplify the impact trees can have” said Katie Loos, President of the Arbor Day Foundation. “Not only are trees important for water and biodiversity, but they also can cool urban streets and outdoor spaces, creating safe spaces for communities to thrive.”
