Mariani Packing rolls out single-serve probiotic packs

6/9/2020

Mariani Packing is looking to simplify the way consumers get their daily dose of probiotics.

To do so, the Vacaville, Calif.-based company is introducing single-serve packs of its Probiotic Dried Fruit line.

Available in a weekly, seven-day supply carton, the packs will come in probiotic apricots and probiotic prunes flavors.

Both the dried apricots and dried prunes contain soluble fiber, which acts as a prebiotic, are naturally sweet, do not contain added sugar, and contain antioxidant vitamins A and E, as well as vitamins B6, B12, potassium and iron, the company said.

In addition, the GanedenBC30 probiotic cultures found inside the products have been recognized as safe, or GRAS by the FDA, as well as vegan, gluten-free, Non-GMO Project Verified, Kosher and Halal certified.

“Today's consumers are looking for convenient, healthy and on-the-go solutions that are nutritious and delicious. The new Mariani Probiotic Single-Serve Packs combine the natural prebiotics found in fruit with GanedenBC30 Bacillus Coagulans GBI-30, 6086 probiotics to help boost immune and digestive wellness anywhere they are; at home, work, school, or travel,” Bob Hyland, vice president, global CPG sales and marketing said.

The Probiotic Single-Serve Packs from Mariani can be found nationwide at Albertsons, Safeway, Walmart and at most major retail grocery stores nationwide and at mariani.com.
