Mucinex campaign emphasizes mask wearing
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, and the ongoing mask debate also wages on, Mucinex is throwing its hands in the ring.
The cold and flu brand is launching a public health campaign that looks to help Americans fight the new normal in the nation with facts.
Titled “Back to Normal is Up to You,” the initiative features a collection of thought-provoking images that deliver information and inspiration to consumers across the nation and were created by artist Noma Bar.
Through this campaign, the brand is looking to spread the call to action to wear a mask, the company said.
“Everything we do at Mucinex is informed by science and data, and as with our first two campaigns, we turn to art to deliver our fact-based messages,” Claudine Patel, vice president of marketing for Mucinex said. “With increasing evidence that face masks are some of the most powerful tools we have to slow the spread of the virus, Noma's art and these sand sculptures help spread the message that it's up to all of us to help fight this global health crisis together in order to get our lives and world back to normal.”
To bring the campaign back to life, Mucinex is activating in one of the country’s hotspots — Florida and its beaches — to remind those visiting the locations to wear a mask in order to help stop the spread, the company said.
