    Walmart enhances Beauty Virtual Try-On feature

    Walmart is building upon its AR-enabled technology, which helps shoppers see how items might look in real life before purchasing. 

    The retailer is enhancing its Beauty Virtual Try-On feature to include hair color products, allowing customers to easily experiment with various color cosmetics and hair shades in real-time before hitting the buy button.  

    Focusing on offering personalized experiences, users can search for their perfect match and make their purchase easily through the digital platform, the company said. 

    Nearly 500 hair color products from such brands as Madison Reed, Revlon and Wella are available on Walmart’s iOS app, and the retailer has plans to add more brands in the future. 

    Aside from hair colors, the experience also features products from such brands as e.l.f. Cosmetics, NYX Professional Makeup, Black Radiance and wet n wild, among others.

    Coffee mate, Dr Pepper simplify making Dirty Soda at home

    Coffee mate and Dr Pepper have come together to put their own spin on the viral #DirtySoda trend on TikTok.

    Dirty Soda is a TikTok sensation that involves mixing carbonated soda with a splash of creamer and, sometimes for added flair, fruits and flavored syrups.

    With its Dirty Soda Coconut Lime Flavored Creamer and a glass of the soft drink, making the viral beverage is now easier than ever, the brands noted.

    “The modern coffee drinker demands more from their brands—more flavor, more indulgence, and more opportunities to experiment with their favorite coffee products.     Currently, Coffee mate’s Dirty Soda Coconut Lime Flavored Creamer is available for purchase at grocery stores nationwide for a limited time and retail for $3.29.

    Premier Protein adds cookie dough flavor to protein shake line

    Premier Protein’s ready-to-drink shake portfolio is debuting a new, permanent flavor addition—cookie dough. The new protein shake flavor, which features the taste of cookie dough, comes in 4-ct. and 12-ct. bottles that can be purchased at Walmart and Amazon, as well as online. 

    The shake contains 30 g of protein, 160 calories and 1 g of sugar per serving. The beverage also contains vitamins C and E, the company said.

    Topo Chico is debuting its new Mixers line, which consists of elevated non-alcoholic mixers crafted with premium ingredients, the company said.

    The mixers feature a light essence of flavors, bubbles, filtered sparkling water and minerals for taste. The beverages are made for mixing in mocktails and cocktails and come in three options—ginger beer, tonic water and club soda. 

    Beginning March 11, Topo Chico Mixers will be available at retailers nationwide, liquor stores and drug stores in single flavor packs of four that retail for $6.79.

    The Bites Easter Egg, which contains two bags of its Bites, is a convenient way to enjoy its popular snacks in an easier format that can be taken on the go. 

    Available in three of its popular flavors — mango, green apple and strawberry — the unwrapped chewlets are coated in a plant-derived powder that helps keep the candy from sticking together without composing its chewy texture, the company said.

    Currently, Hi-Chew Bites Easter Egg carries an SRP of $5.99 and can be found where the brand’s products are currently sold.
