    SimplyProtein debuts protein-packed tortilla chips

    SimplyProtein is loading up the tortilla chip aisle with protein. 

    New from the brand are its Restaurant-Style Tortilla Chips, made with corn, pea protein, sunflower oil and come in three flavors—sea salt, hint of lime and hint of habanero. 

    Each 1-oz. serving of 14 chips contains 7 g of protein, 140 calories, 7 to 8 g of fat and 11 to 12 g of carbohydrates, the company said. 

    “We believe we’ve cracked the code on indulgent-tasting, better-for-you tortilla chips,” notes Michael Lines, CEO of Wellness Natural Inc., parent company of SimplyProtein. “I’m really proud to have created a new protein-rich snack that tastes so great. With summer upon us, it’s time for folks to enjoy the savory side of SimplyProtein that’s perfect with their guacamole, salsa, in their nacho recipes, or however they choose.”

    Currently, all flavors can be purchased online at Amazon and the SimplyProtein website. The hint of lime chips are available for purchase at Costco stores across the Northeast, Northwest and Southeast for an SRP of $8.99. In July, H-E-B will carry all three flavors.

    Topo Chico broadens Sabores availability

    Topo Chico is broadening the availability of its Sabores line of sparkling waters.

    Consumers can find the beverage at retailers nationwide in lime, tangerine and blueberry flavors. 

    In addition, to celebrate the broadened availability of the line, Topo Chico partnered with comedian Rob Anderson on a 10-minute social variety show titled, “SaboresTV,” which highlights personalities including artists, chefs, musicians and fans.

    MegaFood rolls out Beet Chews

    MegaFood is rolling out a new supplement crafted with dried beets. 

    The brand’s new Beet Chews feature 500 mg of beetroot powder per serving to support cellular energy and aid the body in creating sustainable energy, the company said. 

    The supplements are free of citric acid, malic acid, palm oil and artificial sweeteners, and contain vitamin C. 

    MegaFood’s Beet Chews are available in a Mixed Berry flavor and can be purchased online.

    Post Consumer Brands broadens Pebbles cereal lineup for summer

    Post Consumer Brands is prepping the cereal aisle for summer with several new launches across its Pebbles line. 

    The company announced the launch of three new cereals and two size extensions across the brand. 

    Products shoppers can be on the lookout for include: 

    • Fruity Pebbles Waffles Cereal: Features fruity-based waffle pieces that contain notes of maple syrup; 
    • Summer Fruity Pebbles Cereal: Available in a limited-edition box that includes the characters Pebbles, Bamm-Bamm and Dino, and contains festive red and blue flakes; and
    • Frosted Chocolate Cake Cereal: A limited-edition cereal that contains chocolate chips and eight chocolate layers. 

    The cereals that will be coming in larger sizes are the Fruity Pebbles Marshmallow Cereal in Large and Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles Cereal in Giant.

    Sally Hansen and LoveShackFancy have joined forces on a limited-edition nail polish line that channels neutral spring vibes. 

    Featuring the brand’s Color Therapy polishes, which are infused with argan oil and biotin, the collection’s formula also protects nails from breaking and from peeling or splitting, the company said. 

    Available in various shades exclusive to certain retailers, the Fleur-T and Rosy Quartz hues are available in packs at Walgreens and on LoveShackFancy’s website. CVS will carry the Fleur-T, Pink I’ll Sleep In, Rosy Quartz, Tulle Much and a Top Coat.

    Nailboo’s nail care products hit Walmart stores

    Nailboo is bringing its dip nail products to 2,200 Walmart shelves. 

    The brand’s current portfolio includes at-home dip powder and gel nail kits for home use.

    “Tripling our presence at Walmart is a pivotal moment for Nailboo, as we’re laser-focused on meeting our customers exactly where they shop and expanding the brand’s retail footprint,” said Raz Romanescu, CEO and co-founder of Underlining, the parent company of Nailboo. “Growing our already loyal customer base at Walmart serves as a catalyst and amplifies the brand’s commitment to further democratizing salon quality at-home nail care.” 

    Aside from Walmart, Nailboo offers its products at several other retailers, including Sally Beauty.
