    Walgreens honors veterans, active-duty military on Independence Day

    To express gratitude for an incredibly significant part of American history and to honor those who have served – and continue to serve – our country, Walgreens is offering an Independence Day weekend discount to all veterans, active-duty military personnel and their immediate family members.

    Beginning July 4 through July 7, customers with a valid military ID or proof of service will receive 20% off eligible regular-price products with MyWalgreens, at any Walgreens or Duane Reade drugstore nationwide.

    All Walgreens customers can maximize their savings and receive personalized offerings daily by enrolling in the free myWalgreens loyalty program. MyWalgreens members can earn up to $30 in Walgreens Cash rewards every month, or up to $400 per year. Furthermore, all customers can receive 15% off their eligible Walgreens.com order of $35 or more between June 30 and July 6, with the code STARS15.

    Walgreens stores will be open during regular business hours on Independence Day. However, some pharmacies will be closed or have limited hours. To ensure patient access, 24-hour Walgreens pharmacies will remain open.

    One Brands’ protein bar rolls out Reese’s, Hershey’s flavors

    One Brands is bringing the flavors of a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup to its protein bars. 

    New from the brand is the Reese’s Peanut Butter Lovers flavor, which features 8 g of protein and 3 g of sugar. 

    "Many peanut butter flavored protein bars exist in the world, but only One Brands can do it with the real ingredients of Reese's peanut butter,” said Bo Jones, One Brands brand manager. “At One Brands, we understand our consumers love their favorite flavors like peanut butter in a protein-packed snack. That's why we're excited to give them the One x Reese’s Peanut Butter Lovers flavor inspired protein bar that tastes delicious.”

    In addition, the brand also is rolling out its new Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Crème protein bar, which features bits of the candy. 

    Both of One Brands’ new Peanut Butter Lovers and Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Crème bars are now available for purchase at Amazon and retailers nationwide.

    New from Gelish is its Solid Cream Gel Palettes, which contain a unique solid LED with a smooth and buttery texture that is workable. 

    The cream gel hues have a glossy and true color finish, and its formula ensures no cuticle flooding during the application process, the brand said. 

    Shades part of the Neon & On & On palette include Purple Neon, Blue Neon, Pink Neon, Yellow Neon, Red Neon and Green Neon. 

    The Pretty Pastels group includes shades Blue Pastel, Mint Pastel, Periwinkle Pastel, Teal Pastel and Orange Pastel. 

    Put It Neutral features the colors White Nude, Tan Nude, Mauve Nude, Taupe Nude, Rose Mauve and Brown Nude.

    Playtex Sport launches Triple Pack Tampons

    Playtex Sport is rolling out its new Triple Pack Tampons, which come in three absorbency levels, in updated packaging for the brand. 

    Available in light/regular/super and regular/super/super+ options, the product offers up to eight hours of comfort and protection by being designed to move with the individual’s body, the brand said. 

    Featuring its Flexfit Technology, and an anti-leak backup layer to help trap leaks before they happen, the product retails for $7.99 and can be found at all major retailers including Target and Walmart.

    L’Oréal Paris gathers team of experts for talent collective

    L’Oréal Paris’ expert-focused collective, League of Experts, is welcoming new members to help drive its beauty-focused vision. 

    The newest members of the initiative include celebrity hair colorist Dimitris Giannetos and board-certified dermatologists Dr. Chris Tomassian and Dr. Luke Maxfield. 

    Other members of the League of Experts include Allan Avendaño, Erica Tyalor, Claudia Betancur and Jennifer Yepez, who serve as experts on topics that range from hair color to skin care. 

    “We are thrilled to expand our League of Experts into other categories. Each expert will help us further communicate on the superior technology and research behind our products while also helping make red carpet looks attainable in real life. Our goal with the collective is to leverage each person's unique beauty background to further engage and educate our consumers in a relatable way,” said Ali Goldstein, L'Oréal Paris, U.S. brand president. 

    Each individual part of the League of Experts will help the brand uphold and further its values by helping inspire consumers to feel their most beautiful by creating tentpole moments and educational content, the company said.

    Pure Protein intros All in One Protein Powder

    Pure Protein is rolling out its latest product launch—All in One Protein Powder. 

    The product is formulated with whey protein, collagen and fiber. Additionally, the protein powder offers 25 g of protein, 10 g of collagen, 6 g of fiber and 14 vitamins and minerals per serving, the company said. 

    “As the dietary supplement market in the United States becomes increasingly more congested and expensive, users and especially those taking GLP-1 medications are seeking simplified, yet effective solutions to help them achieve their health and fitness goals,” said Alex Fishman, brand director at Pure Protein. “Pure Protein is proud to be a leading and trusted innovator of nutrient-dense protein products, and to offer our customers a new formula that makes complete nutrition easy.”

    Available in two flavors—vanilla and chocolate—the powder aims to support immunity, skin, joint and bone health, as well as energy metabolism and digestive function, per the brand.
