Bartell Drugs set to open latest store with ribbon-cutting ceremony

7/21/2009

SEATTLE A family-owned regional retail pharmacy chain in the Seattle area plans to open its latest store in a ribbon-cutting event Tuesday.

Bartell Drugs announced that it would open the store, at 3625 148th St. SW in the suburb of Lynnwood, at 10 a.m. Pacific time. Members of the Bartell family and local dignitaries such as Snohomish County executive Aaron Reardon will attend the event.

The 16,400-sq.-ft. store will have about 25 employees and feature typical retail pharmacy merchandise, as well as photo development kiosks and a drive-through pharmacy service.

The store, located in the Lake Serene section of Lynnwood, replaces the 17-year-old Mukilteo Speedway store.
