EAST HANOVER, N.J. -- BelVita is launching a new digital spot to motivate consumers to turn to belVita Breakfast Biscuits for nutritious steady energy all morning long.
The new video features "British Businessman Brad," the quintessential role model for accent faking at the office. After watching belVita's video, consumers can listen to the brand's just-released self-guided audio tape series, "Learn to Speak Fake British and Get Ahead in Life," at LearnToSpeakFakeBritish.com.
"The 'British Businessman' campaign is a fun, tongue-in-cheek way to highlight the benefits of steady energy in a context that resonates with consumers," said Emily Baynes, belVita Senior Brand Manager, Mondelez International. "Since people are often in search of ways to succeed in life, we took this common thread and wove it into a scenario we thought our fans would find funny – faking a British accent. With belVita and our foolproof eight-part audio series, you'll have the tools it takes to put your best accent forward all morning long-and hopefully get ahead in even the stickiest of situations."
According to belVita, British accents fare well when it comes to making an impression. In an unofficial survey commissioned on behalf of belVita, "How to Brit," a combined 46% of respondents think British accents are "classy" or "cool." And Brits took the lead with 30% of respondents noting they believe someone speaking with a British accent is "smart" or "well-educated."
With 14-20g of whole grains and 3-4g of fiber per 50g serving, belVita Breakfast Biscuits contain no high fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated oils or artificial sweeteners.
