ORLANDO, Fla. — BeneCard PBF announced that it has appointed a new EVP pharmacy services.

The prescription benefit facilitator said Bill Wolfe will be responsible for leading BeneCard PBF's clinical, compliance, sales and business informatics groups. Prior to joining BeneCard PBF, Wolfe served as president of pharmacy benefit manager Catalyst Health Solutions, which merged with fellow PBM SXC Health Solutions in July. Prior to his tenure at Catalyst, Wolfe also worked at Rite Aid, last serving as SVP managed care and government affairs for the company.

"Bill has over 25 years of managed care and pharmacy benefit experience and is a recognized and highly regarded leader in the prescription benefits industry," BeneCard PBF chairman of the board Kenneth Ullman said. "He will help guide BeneCard PBF in moving forward as a change agent in the dynamic landscape of health care and we are excited to have Bill join our team."
