Case-Mate introduces new iPhone case

ATLANTA — Case-Mate is touting an "ultra-protective tough case" for the iPhone.

The product, called Tank, is a dual layer case that features a hard, impact-resistant exterior and a shock-absorbing interior. Tank also features a retractable screen that shields a phone from impacts, cracking and condensation.

"Sixty-seven percent of damaged iPhones are due to cracked screens and the current market does not provide users with an effective solution," Case-Mate chief marketing officer Erik Attkisson said. "We saw this as an opportunity to engineer a tough case that has the high-design aesthetic our customers expect while providing critical protection for both the screen and the phone."

Tank is available for $60 and is available in green/orange, black/black, black/pink and white/pink color options.
