Jif introduces new peanut butter spreads

ORRVILLE, Ohio — Jif Peanut Butter announced on Monday the beginning of the company's 12th Annual Jif Most Creative Sandwich Contest, and to help celebrate the new marketing promotion, the company unveiled new peanut butter spreads.

The new peanut butter spreads include:

• Hazelnut Spreads — chocolate and mocha cappuccino;


• Whipped Spreads — whipped creamy peanut butter and whipped peanut butter and chocolate;


• Jif Almond Butter — in creamy and crunchy varieties; and


• Jif Cashew Butter — also available in creamy and crunchy.

The new product innovations come as the company kicks off the 12th Annual Most Creative Sandwich Contest, where one innovative 6 years to 12 year-old child can win a $25,000 college fund and a trip to New York City.
