ST. LOUIS — PharmaArmor announced a Kickstarter campaign for a pill case targeted specifically at travelers. The Road Warrior — billed as being waterproof, spill-proof and impact resistant — is compact enough to fit inside a suitcase or briefcase. Additionally, the case is TSA-compliant.
The brains behind the Road Warrior is St. Louis resident Scott Steiger, a military service veteran who credits his extensive travel with the inspiration for the product.
"This is a market that has been full of gimmicky products for a long time," Steiger said. "We've come up with a product that is practical, compact and durable. I have an entire bag of travel pill cases from the local drugstores that do a great job at home, but are not meant for the road."
PharmaArmor needs close to $55,000 in startup funding to roll the product out to the general public. Donations of any amount are welcome, PharmaArmor said, and all Kickstarter supporters will receive a lifetime warranty on purchases.
