Planters brings back Cheez Balls, Cheez Curls
After countless petitions, online groups and letters, Planters has decided to bring back its highly-demanded Cheez Balls and Cheez Curls for a limited time.
“We heard many impassioned pleas for us to bring Cheez Balls and Cheez Curls back over the years and we wanted to give our fans a chance to reunite with their most-missed cheesy snack,” Melanie Huet, Planters head of brand building, said. “We made sure our Cheez Balls and Cheez Curls still have the same delicious taste, airy texture and fluorescent color you know and love, so our fans can enjoy a nostalgic trip down memory lane with every canister.”
Starting in July, consumers will be able to purchase both products for a limited-time at their local grocery store.
To kick off the return of these beloved snacks, Mr. Peanut hid the first 59 available containers across the internet for fans to find in order to satisfy their cravings. Winners found the canisters on popular auction and e-commerce sites this month within 24 hours of the challenge being launched, the company said.
Planters' Cheez Balls are sold in 2.75-oz. canisters and Cheez Curls come in 4-oz. containers that retail for $1.99 each.
