OMV! by Vagisil meets young women's personal care needs
Combe, the parent company of Vagisil, is rolling out a new intimate care line created for teens.
OMV! by Vagisil, designed to meet the cleansing and care needs of young women, looks to also help them feel comfortable and confident in their vaginal health, the White Plains, N.Y.-based company said.
Consisting of an intimate body wash, wipettes and an anti-itch serum, the collection was created by health experts who engaged with 2,500 teen girls and their mothers to get insight into what personal care needs young women were looking to meet.
“The Vagisil brand believes confidence starts with feeling comfortable in your own body. OMV! by Vagisil was created to support our brand mission: Empower young women to feel comfortable talking about their vaginal health needs and provide solutions so they can be shameless about their bodies,” Vagisil CEO Keech Combe Shetty said. “As a leader in women's vaginal health for more than 45 years, it was very important that we invited young women to have a say in the making of these products, ensuring that every aspect of the line is what they want and need in an intimate care product.”
Gynecologist tested, OMV! by Vagisil is made with safe and effective ingredients; is pH balanced; features a vanilla clementine scent; and is free of dyes, parabens, MIT or preservatives.
Products that make up the line include:
- All-Day Fresh Wash, a safe and gentle wash for intimate areas and body parts. It looks to help users cleanse and stay fresh;
- No-Sweat Wipettes consists of compact cleansing wipes that do not cause irritation; and
- Bikini Anti-Itch Serum, a soothing colloidal oatmeal plus vitamin E and chamomile formula that aims to help calm the bikini and intimate area after shaving, waxing or during menstrual itches.
