Dietary supplement and functional food trade organization the Council for Responsible Nutrition has a new chairman and board of directors. The organization on Monday announced David Campbell, vice president of North America regulatory affairs and policy at RB Health, had been elected chair of the board of directors. Campbell, who served on CRN’s executive committee for the past two years, will hold the chairman position through 2020.
Campbell has more than 20 years of health industry experience, including roles at Pfizer Consumer Health, where he focused on developing and executing regulatory strategy for OTC drugs, medical devices, dietary supplements and cosmetics, and as senior director of North American regional regulatory lead. He also has worked at such companies as Sanofi-Aventi, Daiichi Medical Research, Atlanta Pharma and Watson Pharma.
