DexCom developing diabetes app for Apple Watch
SAN DIEGO — The Wall Street Journal on Sunday reported that DexCom, a medical-device maker, is developing a diabetes glucose monitoring app to be compatible with the Apple Watch when it's released in April.
DexCom’s glucose monitor tracks a person’s blood-sugar levels continuously by using a small sensor under the skin to measure blood glucose levels every five minutes.
The DexCom app converts that data into a simple graph to be displayed on the Watch interface.
