Extinguishing holiday heartburn

The holidays stand as prime time heartburn season with Thanksgiving dinners and holiday get-togethers on the calendar. And that doesn’t even cover the obligatory holiday fruitcakes.



Procter & Gamble has kicked off two campaigns to remind over-indulgers of heartburn remedies. The first supported the company’s Pepto-Bismol brand and featured “Modern Family” star Eric Stonestreet and the nonprofit organization Feeding America on a Thanksgiving turkey drive. The second featured Prilosec OTC and comedian Larry the Cable Guy around a contest searching for the best NFL tailgater.
