L'il Critters debuts Omega-3 Gummy Fish

ORLANDO, Fla. Northwest Natural Products on Tuesday launched a new Omega-3 nutritional supplement product as part of its L’il Critters line. Omega-3 Gummy Fish is formulated with a chia seed extract as the source of Omega-3s.

It is being marketed against the potential for brain development in children.

According to the company, chia seed extract is plant-based, has a higher Omega-3 concentration and a much cleaner taste profile than other sources like fish oil and flaxseed oil.

“When you’re making a product destined for use by children, taste is the one issue that cannot be compromised,” stated Kate Jones, Northwest vice president.
