U.K. pharmacy launches Celebrity Slim meal replacement program

NEWCASTLE, England Rowland’s Pharmacy on Wednesday announced the introduction of the Australian meal replacement program Celebrity Slim.

The program incorporates guidance on adopting healthy lifestyles in addition to following a nutrition regimen—replacing two meals a day with one of Celebrity Slim’s shakes, soups or bars.

“The nation’s fight to become healthier is extremely important and we need to help any way we can,” said Kenny Black, managing director, Rowlands Pharmacy. “Celebrity Slim is a scientific, yet realistic program that allows [dieters] to make steady progress towards their target weight. Studies show that people who take part in a meal replacement program have much greater weight loss success than those who just go on a fad diet.”

The product is made from a nutritionally balanced blend of protein, carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins and minerals. In an effort to encourage healthy weight loss and the fight against obesity, Rowlands Pharmacy will offer free weight management consultation to all Celebrity Slim customers.

Celebrity Slim was first launched in Australia in February 2007.
