PetSafe launches electronic laser cat toy

PetSafe is expanding its offerings of cat toys.

The Knoxville, Tenn.-based company launched its new Dancing Dot Laser Cat Toy, which was designed to be placed anywhere for various play sessions, and can be used on flat surfaces or hung on doorknobs.

Offering cat parents a play while you’re away mode, the toy automatically activates three times throughout the day to entertain felines, with each session lasting for 15 minutes with a rest mode between to avoid overstimulation, the company said.

“Expanding our selection of electronic cat toys is another way PetSafe is working to provide solutions to common problems that pet owners experience,” Krista Nixon, the toys and behavior category manager for PetSafe, said. “We know pet parents are busy, and this toy provides an interactive way to keep cats physically and mentally stimulated even when owners are not available.”

Equipped with a class 1-type laser, the PetSafe Dancing Dot Laser Cat Toy can be found online and at pet retailers across the nation.
