Kmart Pharmacy offers flu vaccinations at walk-in clinics

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. Kmart pharmacy has announced today that it will initiate walk-in flu clinics beginning Thursday, Oct. 2. The clinics will continue through Nov. 13.

President of Kmart Pharmacy, Mark Doerr said, “Flu season begins in November and can last until May. The Center for Disease Control says the single best way to protect against the flu is to get vaccinated each Fall and Kmart wants to encourage our customers to protect themselves by offering over 900 pharmacist-based and 400 nurse-based clinics in pharmacy and non-pharmacy locations throughout the country.”

Kmart pharmacies will offer flu shots for $25. Pneumonia shots will also be available for $50 until supplies run out. For more information, customers may call 1-800-822-8345 to locate their closest Kmart pharmacy and also get the times and dates of clinics.
